Tim Burton's idea of a comedy. Michael Keaton, as Betelgeuse, reminds me so much of my obnoxious uncle that I could barely get through the film. Winona Ryder became wildly recognized with this movie, which is another unfortunate event that surrounded it. Then there's Geena Davis. What can a person say about Geena Davis, other than, "I'm sure glad HER 15 minutes are up!"? There are a few semi-alright jokes, and the usual gothy style Burton directing, which I kind of dig; but, for the most part, this movie sucks from start to finish, and the casting director should be shot.
I'd give it 5 Juicy squirts out of a possible 10
