Fart jokes, snot jokes, jokes about ulcers, drinking urine, having explosive diarrhea, and feeling up women: when they work, they work, and in Dumb and Dumber, they work. The Farrelly Brothers went way out on the "raunch-limb" with this one, but not so far that they couldn't climb back, as recent gross-out comedies such as Scary Movie and Saving Silverman have made the mistake of doing.
Another thing that sets Dumb and Dumber above the dozens of "potty-comedies" that have followed it, including those created by the Farrelly Brothers, is that it is actually funny, it actually has good performances (Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels make a great comedic duo), and it has a plot that's a decent enough excuse for all the jokes about things that come out of your body, and things on other people's bodies that, when used properly, can cause more things to come out of yours, in a pleasurable fashion. If you go into Dumb and Dumber expecting something smart, A. you're a fucking moron and B. you'll be disappointed. If you go into Dumb and Dumber expecting a barrage of stupid humor just intelligent enough to make you laugh, you'll have a hell of a time.
I'd give it 9 Juicy squirts out of a possible 10 (and no, I'm not being sarcastic)
