I'm a little beagle mix, and I have a similar story [to Porthos] -- except I had to live in DC. It was very tufff to refrain from biting all those Bushies. The last straw was when someone who worked at the White House bought our house and moved in upstairs. So my mom and I moved to San Francisco, where we could blend in with the lefties. I agree that Dean is more moderate than I'd like, but Dean was the only campaign with a Director of Canine Relations.

My mom is originally from New England and she's been a fan of Dean since the mid-90s. Plus, she says the Democrats on Capitol Hill just rolled over an played dead for Bush. I don't know what kind of treats they got for that trick, but something stinks and not in a good way.
