Letter # 25

Oct 4, '44

Am somewhere on the East Coast. Cannot say where.

Sent a package home. Its got some books in it. One of those books is not mine. It belongs to another fellow in our outfit. Sent it with mine to save him the trouble of mailing one book. So please put them away somewhere in a trunk. I might send for them again later.

Weather's chilly & raw.

Please don't worry about anything. Minnesota is still the best state to live in. After being in every part of the country, I'll still say that.

Not much else to say from here so as to get this letter into the next mail, I'll close here.

Say hello to Janice Mary from me. Regards to everyone and write again soon.
