Letter # 29

Somewhere in France
Tues. Nov. 24th '44

Dear Folks

It was Thanksgiving day yesterday. Weather is rainy & wet but warmer than it used to be.

Got your letter dated Nov 7th today, Pa. You can write in Finn (that'd be Finnish - Alex the Editor) Pa if you want to. Letters from there to here are not censored expect very occasionally and if it should happen to be censored, the letter if written in Finn, would be censored by that language censor.

We're in combat, as I've mentioned before. It hasn't been so very bad. We've been treating some wounded.

How come Elmer don't write? Got a letter from Andy yesterday from England. Also one from Marie Anderson today.

We now get some stationary. This is the paper & envelope you sent, pa.

Nothing much to write about at this time, so will close here. Don't worry, everything's O.K.

Regards to everyone.

Had turkey today!

Bob
